Umpire Information

Requirements
All umpires, regardless of experience, will be required to attend preseason training and meetings . Years of experience will determine the number of training sessions required. Umpires must reapply on a yearly basis and be 13 years of age by the opening day of each season. Games assigned and pay are based on years of experience.
Pay Per Game
Umpire Level 1 HS - High School Certified (requires proof of current MSHSAA registration): $60.00
Umpire Level 1, (min. 4 years of experience and at least 18 years of age): $50.00
Umpire Level 2 (min. 3 years of experience): $45.00
Umpire Level  3 (min. 2 years of experience): $40.00
Umpire Level 4 (min. 1 year of experience): $30.00
Umpire Level 5 (First Year): $25.00
 
Scheduling
All games (Baseball and Softball) are scheduled on www.eurekasports.net  Umpires will be given access after completion of training.  All umpires must have an email address and access to the internet. Games will be played mostly on weeknights at 6:00p.m. and 8:00p.m. (Monday-Thursday) with the expectation of a couple weekends.

Umpire Training  Dates
We will be hosting training with Play 9 on the following dates.

 

New Umpire Training (First and Second Year Umpires, 1 session required). 

Option 1: Saturday 2/24, 11:00am – 1:00pm 

Timbers of Eureka Meeting Room 2 (1 Coffey Park Lane Eureka MO 63025)

Option 2: Monday 3/18, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Eureka Community Center/Ballfields (333 Bald Hill Road Eureka MO 63025)

All Umpire Meeting: Tuesday 3/19, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Please try your best to make these dates, if you are out of town and can’t make these dates please let us know as soon as possible. All umpires must be cleared before they can be assigned games. 

Returning College Students - We understand that you can not attend training; however you need to cleared before working games.
